Katherine and Patrick’s journey began in their very first English class freshman year of high school, when Katherine immediately noticed the cute tall blonde boy sitting across the room. What started as a simple classroom connection quickly grew into something more. After a few years of friendship, their bond deepened, and they began dating during their junior year. From there, they navigated the rest of high school and college together, building a relationship full of love and memories. Through the years, their favorite moments have been simple but meaningful—soaking up the sun at the beach, enjoying friendly card games, and getting creative in the kitchen. Katherine still loves watching Patrick play volleyball, cheering him on at every game, while Patrick, ever the good sport, happily gets dragged around to all the new restaurants Katherine finds online for them to try. In February 2025, Patrick proposed to Katherine at a place that has always been special to both of them: Laguna Beach. On February 15th, with the ocean waves as their backdrop, they became engaged, marking the beginning of their next adventure together. Now, they are excited to return to a place that has been a part of Katherine’s life for many years—the Mission Basilica in San Juan Capistrano. This historic church holds a special significance to Katherine, as she attended elementary school there, and the high school where they first met is just down the road. It’s the perfect place to celebrate the love that has grown between them over the years. As they look forward to their future, they can’t wait to celebrate this moment with all of you!

We recommend looking in Laguna Beach or Dana Point for the best experience.
